Senior Manager ERP Innovation & Automation

Job Responsibilities

  • Support the ERP lead in driving transformation initiatives, process improvements, and solution delivery
  • Develop solution concepts for new ERP requirements, process optimizations, integrations, and automations
  • Act as a senior expert for ERP-related technology topics, including interfaces, workflows, extensions, and system design
  • Contribute hands-on to technical implementation, configuration, prototyping, scripting, or low-code development where required
  • Identify innovation opportunities in ERP-supported processes and help translate them into pragmatic solutions
  • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, external partners, and software developers
  • Support cross-site harmonization of ERP-supported business processes and technical standards
  • Help evaluate new technologies and approaches that improve efficiency, scalability, and user experience
  • Ensure solutions are practical, maintainable, and aligned with operational realities
  • Coach colleagues and project teams on ERP capabilities, technical options, and implementation approaches

Job Requirements

  • Strong experience in ERP projects or ERP transformation initiatives in international manufacturing environments
  • Proven ability to combine business process understanding with technical solution design
  • Hands-on experience with ERP configuration, integrations, automation, or development-related topics
  • Good understanding of APIs, data structures, interfaces, and connected enterprise systems
  • Experience with scripting, SQL, low-code platforms, workflow tools, or application development in enterprise environments
  • Strong solution-oriented mindset with the ability to turn complex requirements into practical implementations
  • Ability to support leadership with technical expertise, structured execution, and innovation input
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across business and technical teams
  • Preferred: experience with SAP, S/4HANA, MES integration, traceability, supply chain, quality processes, or manufacturing IT environments
  • Degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
